Yes he confirmed what I ordered. He had my build sheet he read off of. But again I said how does the customer confirm he recieved what was order. There doesn't seem to be a good answer. Trust is the word I guess. I would perfer a spec sheet be included with the converter.

I am really surprised that they don't include some kind of a spec sheet with the TC.

Well now that you have it in there, how are you liking it?

I have run several higher than stock stall converters in the past and this one is a little different because it locks up. This makes it very highway friendly. Around town it feels softer than stock as you drive into the higher stall. There is nothing subtle about it leaving the light as it is as much as a 1000 rpm higher than stock depending how hard you are leaning on it. Even if you aren't pushing it some it is softer and at a higher rpm than stock leaving the light. This really could use a Stage II VB and still be comfy blasting around on the street. Personally I like it... Is it for everyone, NO.

All the info you have posted has been very helpful. This is on my book as the next mod for my truck so to hear that you are liking it makes me just look forward to getting one a little bit more.

I am glad the info is helpful, I see your truck has the look of a street runner and this converter I believe would work for you. I also think this converter is for those who play a little harder than most and are willing to put up with the compomises involved with wanting to go fast. In another words, poor gas mileage and heat issues. Good luck.

I 100% DISAGREE with you here. Under normal driving, hell even ripping through the street/down the track for the last year since mine was installed I have yet to see a decrease in my MPG in fact since it is opperating better than it does stock my mpg went up. Mixed 70/30 hwy/city I still net around 16.4mpg's. When your 1/4 throttle feels closer to 3/4 throttle stock and you can get up and moving easier you're not wasting power. Less wasted power, the better your mpg's get.

As for heat, yes it can be an issue, but again, with the right mods its not a problem and can be worked around. Adding a larger trans cooler will drop the temps down to about where it is with the stock converter, you can go one step further and add a pml pan as well and drop temps even lower.
