Mine wont roast until about 2650rpms and mine is set for 2700 stall.

I haven't mastered getting it out of the hole with the stock converter yet. Actually gave up, knowing it would change with the new converter install. It'll diffinitely fry the tires. I have to wiegh lil Red as she is light for a Ram (SXT). I'm still carrying about 150lbs of ballast which would be great to get rid of. My data logging of 0-60 mph is 6.24. I'll work up some new numbers and post them on my Data-logging thread. Maybe some others will contribute to the Data-log thread for comparison. Sounds like sticky material, data-log racing. Again, thanks for the support.

Sounds good, but honestly I don't know if everyone will play. But the idea is more to see how different combinations perform. I think there are some 5.9's and 4.7's that'll pull good numbers. I personally think it would be informative and great fun.

Doing a brake stand burn out has nothing to do with getting it out of the hole, The stock converter should be able to hold up to about 2300rpm before the tires start lighting up. With your new converter it should go up the stall before it lights them up.

Personally I have not been able to launch from the stall. If I had some DR's I would

again, yours looks exactly like mine. and if you are around for the install, you will see that it is quite a bit different than the stock one in there. the cover on the hemiverter and the stock are totally different. i agree with truckin though, install it, then brake stand and see where its set. that will tell you what stall its set at.

also, im not 100% sure on this. but after visiting the shop a couple of times, i have observed. edge is just like burger king. they dont make it, till you order it. or was that wendys? so, they build it all up, stick it in a box, and ship it out. they dont really have any question of which is which on their end. but i do agree, it would be nice to have a marking on it.

the paint on mine was ****ty too. andre told me it was because the front and back are already painted when they weld them together. the heat must mess it up.

i think my first trans blew do to pump failure. not TC related. or so i think

Is your truck in the shop? If it is, I hope they get it installed for you fast so you can take it out and let us know how you like it.

Here's an update, Andre' called me first thing this morning his time and apologize for not getting back to me earlier. I ranted a little and he took it like a gentleman. He is good in my book. I also mentioned it would be good to have some ID on the converters for future reference.
