Default Made My Own CAI!!

Made my own CAI thanks to hammer! i used 3" pvc pipe, 2 90 degrees elbows, pcv glue, 4" K&N filter, and sheet metal for the shield... A few places i had to rig up like the hose for the tranny and the sensor but not a big problem.... open to any suggestions or improvements, thanks dude

Looks good to me. Should do the job quite nicely. How much did you finally end up having in it?

Funny thing is, I bought a K&N for myself over 5 years ago now, paid $279 for it. To date, I've made four of them for others not to mentioned helped about half a dozen that I know of make their own. LOL...

Hammer- the filter was 49.99 and 12 bucks at lowes, i reused the cupling from the tb and just cut a small 3 inch piece o fPVC to connect it to the elbow i=so i didnt have to get a new cupling. i had to get a longer hose for the tranny, and i glued the sensor into the back of the pipe.....

and thanks guys, it took me about 5 hours to make it line it up and wait for the proxy to set.... the filter sounds mean as hell, cant hear it much over my pipes unless i get on it hard then it really screams,

oklahemi an air scoop? hmmm wat does it look like and might do it i got alot of sheet meta left over
