Unhappy '04 1500 Brake caliper broken piston

Went to change my rear pads and rotors and found a broken caliper piston.
There is a chunk missing starting on the outer edge but did not break all the way through.
So, looks like a replacement is needed.
Never did a caliper replacement but i'm decent with mechanical stuff and have the haynes manual.
Question: Can I get a good caliper at Auto Zone and do I have to do both of the rear calipers at the same time?
Any input is appreciated, thanks.

In the past I have always changed brakes, shocks and pads as pairs. Maybe with OEM calibers it might not be necessary but I would do them in pairs anyway.

I spent all day changing my front brakes and roters.. I didn't know they were dual
piston calipers. The first side took most of the day. I also got the rear ones to do.
Sorry for the hijack but are the rear calipers dual pistons also?

You can get the duralast calipers from Autozone with the pads mounted. Lifetime warranty so you
can simply bring them back and replace them free for the life of the vehicle. At least that is the case
with my wife's caravan.

With brakes I was always taught to do everything in pairs also. I know that usually means just pads or rotors but I would do the calipers also. It wont hurt. Just make sure you bleed the brake lines.

All day to do just the fronts????? You need more brake changing practice.

I can do the entire truck in 2 hrs. Once you get the hang of it, its moves faster.

Yeah, 2nd ones went pretty quick. Everything went slow on the first ones. Like figuring out how to remove the rotors. Finally figured I needed to use small sledgehammer and spank it good. I bought the caliper rebuild kit and took a long time to figure out how to remove the calipers. Then I damaged one a little blasting it out with air. Had to file an edge down. Then took forever to put them back in. Advice to anyone that does this, make sure it goes in straight and don't force it. If you gotta force and it don't budge then remove and start over. Putting the new rubber piston boots is tricky with the double calipers. Also be careful torquing that banjo bolt. I was stupid and decided to do it by feel. It's soft and I stretched it. Had to order a new one from the stealership. Then bled brakes and ran out of fluid. I was gonna paint them but they still had most of the original paint on and only a few rust spots. Plus with my stock tires ya really can't see them much so why bother?
It was a PITA but learned a lot.
