Power Steering Cooler help...
Was planning to do the switch to Royal Purple synthetic oil today during the oil change.
When I got under her, I noticed a bit of oil stain on the fan cover. It looks as though the little radiator is leaking oil.
What is this little radiator?
It looks like an easily replaced part. Is it?
Thanks,
J

It is your power steering cooler, and yes it is easy to change, 2 bolts and 2 hose clamps, lol, I know alot of ppl that had that problem (I myself) and they just by passed it back into the reservoir, and had no trouble, I replaced mine. Most transmission coolers are actually in the outlet tank on the engine coolant radiator, and cant be seen just by popping the hood. lol
Edit: your power steering fluid is trans fluid, confuses alot of ppl lol

Had to replace the PS cooler last year due to rust through. Fairly simple and cost only about $80. Chrysler knows it has a problem in the northeast due to the heavy use of road salt. Rather than correct the problem, they price the part low so they get fewer complaints. Great corporate policy????
