yea I've got a couple cans of niteshades off amazon for a good price but I dont plan on using it anymore. I've got taillight covers that are painted. If someone feels the need to pull me over because of it, I can just remove the covers while the cop is there and slap them back on after he leaves.

Oh yeah, because they can't see your frickin brake lights! There's a reason they don't come with those cool tinted tails from the factory. It's because those of us without ESP need to know when you're slowing down.

Mine are tinted and there are some cars from the factory with WAY dimmer lights than mine...Hell, a set of the dodge tails on a work truck that are scratched up/sun faded are hard to see during the bright part of the day!
Those Altezetta lights that people put on their caprices and old burbans without LEDs dont even light up in the sun hardly. I know they are aftermarket but they are WAY more popular than tinted tails. I guess its all according to HOW DARK you put it on

i agree matt here in fl the sun beats up everything i was behind a 90's chevy this morn and they were all fogged and i could barley see his lights...so its not just us smoked out guys....and the other night my fiance was following me and said mine were just as bright as most other cars....with the exception of a few ....
