so i have been talking about leveling my truck forever and i finally bought the kit. me and my buddy started the install at 930 yesterday morning and after twelve hours of fighting and cussing my truck, a busted knuckle, and a smashed foot she was all done!! this morning i went and got an alignment and gave her a bath and headed down to the river for a quick photo shoot. here ya go guys!!!

Looks good. How is the clearance between the UCA and the coil bucket though? I bet it feels different too huh?

12hrs is a lot of time invested though. You guys must have run into some issues.

Looks good man, I love mine but I want something different now Mine ended up taking about 7-8 hours but I was by myself most of the install, plus I took it apart and redid it like 3 times before I was happy with it.

yeah, PITA doesnt even begin to describe the nuts on the top of the shocks. they were rusted as crap. pb blaster is my friend!!!! and we had to stop for rain a couple times! dang clouds!! lol i have definitely noticed a difference in the ride. its a little stiffer but not bad. i havent noticed the UCA hitting the coil bucket and i went over a couple pretty knarly bumps earlier. i am gonna have to take it back to the alignment shop friday because its still pulling to the right some but overall i am freakin ecstatic with the way it has turned out!

yea my end links are pretty limited out, one boot busted...

Well you better be happy that you dont have an 06-08, my brake lines are too short, the UCA hits the spring bucket like crazy, mine was out of alignment in like a month

On another note, how did you guys torque down the top of the shocks? I couldnt find anything to get a grip on it and mine are both stripped (I had to cut off the one I replaced). I found some strip rubber and put it on the UCA and it helped with the bumps.

Yeah 12 hours is a lot of time for that... I did mine all in about 5 or 6 hours, and thats including the add a leaf in the rear... Did you guys have the proper tools? or improvising?
