What do you think the best price I can get this truck for and what do you think the best method is to get it for that price... You have to remember I'm young and salesman don't take me as seriously for whatever reason.

man it looks good im sorry im not much help on the price but it dosnt seem to bad but I would try to talk them down a bit if you could.

 

My rule of thumb, get them to include the tax, title and license for that price. That seems like a good deal to me.

 

Young or not.. Just know what you are talking about. Do some research and dont act like you really want that truck. Be willing to walk out the door if you feel you are not getting what you feel you deserve. Look at tires make them throw a set in if they are worn and dont back down... that price is workable.. never pay full asking price. they probably have a $3000 cushion with what they have in the truck. I would try to talk them down some that is a 08 with 34000 miles on it already i have a 07 with 26000 and blue book is only like 21 and my truck is in very good condition

 

I checked the truck value on kbb.com.

Not sure of all of the options, but checked what I did know and Laramie.....the suggested retail price is over $25K. It looks to be a decent deal. Go for it.

 

4x4, it don't say... But when the '09s were hitting the lots new, they were running 50% off list on the leftover '08s EVERYWHERE! My cousin in upstate NY bought a brand new '08 ThunderRoad 4x4 QC Hemi in Nov of '08 for right at $23k, so there ain't NO WAY a used '08 should sell for that price!!!

 

Considering that the time frame you speak of was right in the middle of the truck swamp, and bottom draw of the market......

Even if I think that's a little high for one that has 34K on it, it's not THAT bad.

 

Hey Hammer - that is when I bought mine....stickered at $31085....I drove it out for $16K even.......

 

where the hell was I when there was 50% off new trucks???? haha I'm gonna try for 19 or 20 with tax title and tags and I want a full tank of gas and a cold case of beer...
