swapping to srt 60

Sweet and the axle spring pads are already flipped. Well done. yes we need lots of pictures.

so how i figured it is the spring pads are on the bottom...i think and i have to cut the old pads the weld new ones on the top...so got new pads and a new u joint..have a appointment at the drive line shop total cost all in all 975.67... will post pics on wed also with my custom winch mount you can build for 60.00...

Find a quad cab Dana, those have spring pads on top like the normal trucks. Rear SRT brakes are full floating 2 piston. I'm pretty sure you don't need a 20 for the rears, but if you step to SRT front brakes, then you will definitely need them. FYI, crash stop with the SRT fronts, you BETTER be wearing your seat belt. I almost launched myself through the windshield one of the few times I wasn't belted.

can i swap the srt front brakes on a 4x4 1500?

Dunno, they require a spindle change and realignment. They were designed for 2wd. Other than getting the front end aligned right, I don't see why not, they use the same front bearing hub and don't block it any (try it and see).

c) It's cool to say I have SRT-10 brakes that I personally installed on my Ram
I personally like the idea of it, but I don't like the price for the conversion just for a coolness factor. Even though I have had some VERY VERY close calls with my stock calipers and rotors, I'll prolly go drilled and slotted before I ever think of going SRT.
