I don't blame you, I had the truck for about 5 years before I did it, and then only because I get hella good deals on everything.

Yeah, that had nothing to do with the rear axle, the guy just couldn't drive. The SRT is plenty strong and from the OP install costing about the same as a standard Ram gear/diff upgrade. if I had the choice to make again, I'd go for the SRT axle.

ok guys so heres the skinny..i ordered a srt rear end when i posted this last the rear end showed up was a huge mess..not only was it a 9.25 out of a st it had no brakes..the place i orderd let me return it. so after searching and comming up with nothing i had the 9.25 rebuilt again by a well known shop and it went out again thinking houseing is tweaked? so searched and found a place call x2 builders they had several srt rear ends
so i ordered a quad cab one...there customer service is awsome and the guy who took the rear out of the srt took there time cause nothing was cut it was all there..rear end brakes e cables leaf springs shocks u bolts ect....it was a compleat plug and play set up. I should have done this the second time...so all the parts where 1000.00 +250 for shipping so 1250.00
then i will let you guy know how much will have to cut or add to the drive line + a yoke and U joint and ill post lots of pics...thank you for all of your guys help i would not have know about the swap if it was not for this site..again thanks...oh yeah the swap took me an hour and 10min by myself....=) p.s my spedo is 5mph off so if you have an awnser for that let me know? thanks

up date so it was 1000.00 for the rear end 250 for shipping..had to get the driveshaft cut down 1/2 inch and a new yoke installed wich was 200.17 bringin the total bill to 1450.17 well worth it..

also you have to have 17" wheels for the swap..thers a 1/4" of space between the wheel and caliper

For the rears, I'm guessing you didn't convert the fronts (those you're stuck with 20" wheels minimum).
