Default 4.7L TMR and Power Wire Mod questions

I tried doing some searches on these, but couldn't find much on them. Can someone enlighten me on these mods? What do they do, how you do them, that kind of stuff? I've seen the power wire on airram for like $60, but I've heard you can do it for free. Just looking for some info or some DIYs.
Thanks

There's just a couple links. You can do a search in the 3rd gen ram section and just type "power wire" and you'll have more info than you'll ever need.
