oh snap...debadged...
Well i finnaly started it today took me 4 hrs 2 just on the driver side i used a heatgun but i used the highest setting .ooops i caked the glue on the paint took me just over 2 hrs so then on the other side i barly used any heat and i put Goo Gone i let it set for 10 minutes and the tape/adheasive just sliped off i also did the ram log on tailgate what a pain i left the hemi badges and spears for another day but i love it so far goddamit i need to get it lvled and ride of those ugly 20's

i took off the badge first then used goo gone i found the least head and the more of the tape was left it pealed off better after i washed the area with water then i used a claybar then i used scratch remover .. i still need to take it in to get a prowax job soon still some faint ghosting from badge but a good buff job will take care of that
Thanks. It looks great and its something pretty cheap that I could do when I am bored with a big difference. I am just afraid since mine is an 02 I think the paint would show a big difference and then I would regret taking the badges off. I tried on my ford ranger today, which I really could care less about the paint on, and spent about 30 mins with floss and got no where so i finally took a paint scraper and it popped off, apparently the badges on a 94 ranger were pinned in and I am afraid also that mine are pinned in, have you heard of this on the 02s by chance? Thanks
Fishing line, dental floss, all good just got to use a couple sticks to get a grip and go for it. Love those regular cabs. OEM wheels look great! Good luck...

98cherryram, thanks a lot. I was worried about the pins, that would cost a lot more to take off the badges then have to turn around and fill and paint the holes. When did you debadge your truck? Was the paint faded around where the badges were? I don't want it to look obvious where the badges used to be.
