Get the viper 5902! I bought it on ebay and bought every extra sensor that I could. Best buy installed it all for $300 and now, there's no way a bird can even **** on my truck without me knowing! =P You can adjust the sensativity of each sensor too if you don't want it that sensative. IT"S AWESOME!!!!!!!

HAHAHA. If an alarm is what you want then I would probably go with either a Viper or a Compustar. Both you can get a lot of different sensors for and it sounds like you may be most interested in a tilt sensor.

The DEI line is considered a quality product but it really comes down to install, for any product. 10% product 90% install.
haha well i got my .380 alarm system in place right now but that sure did a whole lot for me when my real alarm didnt go off. i looked at best buy and its gonna cost me between 250 and 350 to get it installed and running. do you guys like your vipers? are they a good quality product?

This. The previous owner had a top of the line compustar in this truck. The install was a pure abortion and it was a very temperamental unit. I had no confidence in its security system. I put a new astro start with immobilizer in and it works flawlessly. Me and a buddy installed it in an afternoon and tucked all the wires making it look very OEM appearing.
