New mods completed
I have done some mods recently and have not gotten pics up so here they are:
First I hit a bird and cracked my chrome grille. I wanted a black one anyway. I found a company called Microplaters Sales Inc. that sells aftermarket parts to bodyshops. They are in Michigan and shipped me a paintable black grille and new chrome inserts for $53! I had a local body shop paint them for another $50. I also replaced the chrome bug deflector with one I found off the internet from an 05 SRT10. Another $50 bucks shipped and it even included an emblem.
My KC light bar never matched the truck and the lights were rusting. I prepped them all and disassembled them before plasti-dipping them. Yes I used plasti-dip but tastefully I think. I did the bar and the light with only leaving the chrome rings.
Next someone backed into my wife at work and creased the rear chrome bumper. It looked rippled when I pounded it out and it drove me nuts. I removed the bumper and pounded out the rest of the dings. I then hit them with the grinder before smoothing them with glazing putting. I then roughed up the whole bumper before plasti-diipping it.
I also recently installed a pioneer premier head unit and eclipse 6.5" door speakers. But enough chit chat heres the pics.

Looks sweet man! A lot better. I personally like the uniform look of the paint matched grill. Nice!
