If trucks with comparable mods are running better with the 268, then that seems like the way to go.

Well chefred is running the spartan with really good results. He's at a 13.0x with it. So its a hard call. I think I'll go with the 268 though unless someone has a reason not to with my current mods

The 268 looks pretty good, but honestly I think either one would work good. If you can't hook up, then moveing power up to where you can use it makes sense to me. Pls keep us posted...

Truckin, did you see there is a new 268 that a guy is selling on DT. It has been listed for over a week now so you might be able to score a good deal on it.

It's a "feeler" ad and the guys only got 47posts. I doubt he would give a great deal since it's a feeler and likely wont sell for cheap enough to warrant the risk of a shady business deal. Stuff like that has gotta be atleast $100 cheaper than from a company and be reputable enough member before I'd think of buying. Just my .02

At any rate, i would go with what your heart is telling you. it's not too late.

Nah I'll pass on that, thanks for the heads up though teach/frog. I'll see about ordering it next week. Sold the Spartan today so I got the $$$ back from it.

The 268 only needs the 6.1 springs/rods though right? Have to skip on heads for a little while yet.
