Ordering from CompCams diretly the 268 is $417, ordering from Jegs is its $361.99 and ships Monday. Anyone else know a cheaper deal on it? If not Im gonna order it
6. springs/rods and you'll be good to go. And a tune.
Yeah I knew I was going to need the tune and springs/rods regardless of which one I went with. Just didn't know if the performance heads were needed or not (some of inertia's specifically say that performance heads are needed).

These COMP Cams Xtreme fuel injected camshafts are designed for late model applications. They are ground on a 113 degree lobe separation using faster-opening and more efficient ramp profiles. Xtreme camshafts are engineered for 1.6 ratio rocker arms and beehive valve springs, which provide a dramatic increase in torque and horsepower.
Pulled this info off of SummitRacing's page, I assume that the rocker arm ratio is based on the stock rocker arms, and the beehive can be replaced by the 6.1 springs/rods I got sitting here with no issues right?
Just want to be sure on this before I pull the trigger. I wasn't doing a lot of research into the compcams to start with so I got everything ready for the spartan to go in. Now I just want to be sure that its all still going to work together
