Default My Cold air intake ???

just modded this up and was wondering what you think ? i wanted it to be a real cold air intake so i stuffed the filter behind the fender liner and next to the side of the radiator ... will it work ?????

Looks good and should get plenty of cooler air, just be VERY aware that the chances of picking up water through it will be much greater and use a great deal of care when deciding to go through any standing water...

Thanks Hammer i see that you are very knowledgable on here !! thats a good thing though . i have thought about the water thing also . and i dont like the filter was rubbing on the 2 lines coming from the radiator so i have some small modifications .

looks good man. From the looks of it not sure how you have that run but removing the HEMI hat and taking it right into the TB might be the next step to maximize air flow. Then a nice eshaust to dump all that cold air out. Nice work though.

I just did mine too recently. For some reason everytime I start the truck it dings and tells me to change the oil. The oil is full synthetic and only has 2k miles on it. Plus when I pull the stick it looks good and is topped of. Any ideas? Maybe I just need to reset it?

BigTxRam....just reset the light...........you probably didnt do it when you changed it last time.....I believe it goes off based on mileage.

I had that CAI stuff, but then went back to the stock airbox, but still bypassed the hat....

You Guys and your Homemade (or should I say Homebrew) CAI's seems to be catching on just like the DF debadging phenomenia. I am gonna wait till I do the Ported TB Mod, then either conform to the Homemade Club and use either one of the Dual Bombz filters I got hangin around or get a better flowing one like BigTXRam for the end piece. Alternativey my current goal was to buy an airaid MIT for $115 US plus ship and carry-on with my Stock Air Box with my drop-in K&N like 08RamMan.
