Default New Shock install tomorrow?

Hey guys,
I got pro comp shocks and I am going to install them tomorrow. Can I do it with out a torque wrench? How tight do I make the top and bottom bolts? I am concerned about doing this my self but I guess I am going to give it a shot. Any and all words of wisdom would be great.

Thanks

its a fairly easy job. and no you will not need a torque wrench unless you want to use it for peace of mind.
just make sure and tighten them pretty snug plus some haha.
any questions feel free to ask, we are all here to help.

Drop the spare tire in the rear, it will give you more working room. And use anti-seize.

And remove the plastic shroud behind the driver's side real wheel. 3 8mm bolts hold it in place.

yea you can do it with removing the spare tire or that plastic shroud...mud flap? guessing thats what the other guy is talking about.

should be dont all 4 shocks in 20-30 minutes for a first timer....way way faster if you have air tools .

As others have said, its not hard and you do not NEED a TQ wrench.

I got them on! Took a while longer than I thought it would. Ended up putting about 4 hours into all 4 of them. Had a really really hard time getting the rear ones off!! It rides 100 times better than it did on the stock ones. It even sets alittle higher now. Was able to crank my t-bar and get it level now. Thanks for all the advice and support!

One problem though. I have the Top gunz leveling key and now since I cranked my t-bar up alittle more one of my t-bar ajustment bolts is sitting side ways. How they normaly go straight up and down it is sitting kind of sideways. Just had to crank it alittle more to get it up. How can I get it to set straight? The other one is pretty much straight but the passenger one is not.

Thanks
