Default 20" chrome clad caps

My 2007 dodge currently has the alum. wheels and I was wondering if anyone has put the chrome clad caps on them. Im not sure if thats how it would actually work, but ive heard that the caps are removable. Anyone have any input? I have 4 of them and didnt know if they just cover the current wheel. Thanks in advance for info.

Don't know anything about what sounds like hub caps. I have clad rims and they don't seperate. Show us a picture of what you have.

Ive heard that they are glued on to the wheel. I may be way off here, thats why im asking. Im not even sure why I care, I wanted an affordable chrome solution to new wheels vs. spending hundreds on an all new set of wheels. Cheap usually gets more expensive in the long run.

they are glued on the rim but I havent seen a set of the clad covers for sell, ever...

But its just a plastic cover on the same aluminum rim that you have, so it could work for sure

My chrome clad wheels have a clearcoat on the outer lip that is not covered by the chrome covers. I just had all 4 replaced under warranty because the clearcoat was coming off. The chrome was fine, just the aluminum outer lip looked like crap. I think the finish is different under the covers so they will stick on.

You don't have a choice unless you change the rim....
