ram rims
A level kit wont help you. I have a level kit on mine and was gonna run some 33x12.50x17 tires on the stock rims but there is not enough back spacing on them. I had to order a set of aftermarket rims to be able to run them.

The rim itself isnt wide enough to safely run a 12.5 wide tire, let alone the rubbing issue with a rim without the additional backspacing.
If you put on 12.5 tires on the stock rim, not only will you rub the UCA, but you'll most likely pop the tire off the bead if you ever take some corners real hard or do anything major off road. You need at least a 9" wide wheel and a backspacing of 4.5". I beleive the stock ones are 8" wide and a 5.75" backspacing

AF is right. But even though it is not recommended I did have 33x12.50xr15 on my stock Dakota rims when i had a Dakota, which were only 8 inches wide(as are the Ram rims). i never had a problem though, so i gues it is up to you.
My crager soft 8 rims start at 70$ per rim and come in black silver white and chrome from summit racing. I bought a 17x9 inch rim with a 5.00" backspacing, no issues at all.

well i actually have experience runing a 35" x 12.5" x 17 ( 2004 stock rim) and had no problems on road or offroad- i have a 3" body lift and leveling kit. Never had a problem rubbing or popping the bead.
