Amazing, 30 posts over a non-problem. Tom, you have a great looking truck, stop sweating the springs! Your break sometime for real soon enough. lol

I was thinking the same thing when I posted the thread, but it appears that a few others have the same spring shape.

That might just be the way the are on this model, or maybe they are 'waving" goodbye.
Just because there are many guys with the sagged spring look doesn't mean that it's correct. It's likely because of crappy metals Chrysler used to equipt these trucks with for springs. I was always a Chevy guy before I purchased this Dodge and even working in a garage, never have I seen a Chevy or Ford truck with sagged springs like yours unless the truck was either Old or Used quite a bit.
It may be a common thing and you may not have any issue's at all, but it's not "normal", but rather common. Yet another "common" dodge problem that everyone uses the word "normal" on.
If your not hauling, I wouldn't even worry about them just yet.

It could very well be related to poor-quality metal or improper heat-treatment/quenching when they were manufactured. But seeing so many with a similar curve takes away the urgency of the situation. Many people have springs with the same wavey curve and are not having issues. I don't think I need to hurry out and spend money on springs (especially when I'm needing tires first, and then possibly gears and an Auburn).

We'll see how it hauls. I've never seen it before either, which is why I asked in the first place. If they turn out to be weak in use, I'll replace them.

Gentlemen, if the springs were sagging in any fashion you would not have the rear setting at stock height, which is appoxiamately 2" above the front.
