That's the right order to test... Batt, then Alt, then Starter...

Unless it doesn't start. or take the alt, out?!? I dunno, I wimped out. triple AAA is on there way.It's free and i'm out of work for now. So, they can at least test the battery and replace on the spot if need be.

Done deal ,interstate megatron ,installed. 121.90. another mod?/ lol Truck would not run without the jumpers on. Alt,tested at 14.2 and 13.1 wiyth load on.Called the dealer, he told me it was out of warrenty ,what a shocker. anyway problem solved, thanks for the reply's as always.

The last four batteries I've had fail all did so with NO warning. Many of my friends have experienced the same thing - fine one minute, hammer-city the next. The battery in my Ram is still doing well at seven years and 105K, but I keep a little solar charger plugged in during the time it's sitting idle (which is a lot).
