stock thermstat is 195, these trucks respond alot better to a 180.
also the 10x3 is too small try looking for a 14x3. i have the k&N CAI, and i like it better i felt a low end loss in the 14x3 but it for the money it is better than stock ! !
check this out its for the 5.9 https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...r-intakes.html
may want to check under your hood for a software sticker for death flash , dodge really detuned the 5.9 https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ath-flash.html you can fix it with a tuner and will be a day and night diffrence

Don't waste your time man. Jump right into the 91 performance tune. I put mine there and saw a major jump in power and even gained almost 2 mpg's and can light up my 35's all day haha. I run that tune all the time now. The mileage max tune seemed ok but felt "mushy" truck didn't see that big of gains to me to feel like your driving a tired truck. But after the tune I threw the 180 t-stat in and run high test when I can but it still rocks on the lower grade if you need to run it.

I ran my truck when I first got it. All it had was glasspack (2.25") and I ran like 16.9x I think. I want to go back with all my
Mods I feel like I'd be in 15s Now.
Best bang for your buck is tuner. Efan. Intake and exhaust will help alot
