best ways to add more horsepower and make it faster? i no i programmer will and intake what else could help me get more hp? thats i could do myself..?

 

How much are you able to do yourself? The 5.9 has a LOT of untapped power. The summbiotch was actually de-tuned at the factory by Dodge, which is why the gains are very substantial with a tuner.

If it's within your capabilities, that engine is a really great candidate for a stroker kit and they are not terribly expensive for it, even balanced kits aren't much over $2000...

 

so what exactly is a stoker kit im new to this type of stuff? i was looking intro stroker motor but geez might as well buy a hemi but i like the sound of my 5.9 i never herd a hemi like it even with there pipes and exaust

 

and i can do pretty much anything bolt on. headers and stuuff like that but i dont think i wanna cam it.. i got 108,xxx miles

 

i just herd if u cam it it will do alot of wear and tear faster? idk its a thought i like the sound of cams but not exactly sure who around my area installs them..

 

i would throw the tuner on before i messed with cams and see it makes you happier, and there is always gears...

 

Just ordered a superchips programmer..should be here tommorow or monday..im gunna see how much that helps then a few other mods

i also have a 2002 with the 5.9l lemme know what you do to yours and what you like best. i have a throttle body spacer on mine with a knn drop in, straight pipes. thinkin about getting headers n such too
