Default Nerf Bars?

Hey i just bought some nerf bars for my 04 1500 qc and they should be here in a day or two and i was will i need any special tools need to install them.

not really. a good air gun and compersser would help.maybe a breaker bar also.when I did mine I had a hard time getting the body bolts out

Spray the bolts with PB Blaster or a similar penetrating lubricant the day before and you'll have no trouble with a standard socket set...

does anybody know how tight the frame bolts are suppost to be tighten

80 lbs-ft is what comes to my mind for frame bolts..
someone please correct me if i am wrong

Well got the nerf bars today ups showed up around lunch time and it just took a couple hours bolts came right out thank god the wife loves them they look good now i need to do something with the rims i wish i had the funds to all my mods at once nah then i would anything to do and i injoy doing one thing at a time thank you guys for the info

Now use them when entering and exiting. Your seats will last a long time. No more side shifting off the seat. I exit the same way I enter btw. Step up and in.

Yeh thats why we bought them we have had the truck for about a year now and at first we were jump in and out but over the 5 to 6 months i noticed we were sliding in and out on the seats so i figurerd it was cheaper for nerf bars the new seats next is cai
