just wondering if any body know what the unused plug is behind the radio bezel
its on the left half way down with a gray conector and a white and black wire i'll snap a pic if needed
its for the extra options that are available. Mine has 5 or 6 unused ones. Its cheaper for the companies to make one harness then to make several for the different options.

This is the best answer you can get without more information. Wire harnesses are standard. They just cap unused connectors or tuck into slots in the bezels if not used.
If you wanted more specific information about what each connector is for you would need to provide more details of your truck with emphasis on which OEM radio was installed.
Easiest way to figure it all out is to get a repair manual and check out the wire schematics in the back.
try checking it with the lights on, Im betting thats the cupholder or ashtray light. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...er-lights.html
If you look at butch's DIY, on the second to last pic we have the same plug.
