smoke from exhaust on WOT
I searched the forums couldnt find anything, anyway i got an 04 ram 1500 hemi with 77k on it, i got into to after work and drove not too heavy on the peddle but good enough, when i stopped it seemed to sputter a bit but rpm didnt move much, stepped on the gas seemed to hesitate a bit but ran fine after a few seconds. When i got to the highway i gunned it mostly for fun but also to just open it up, when i looked back i saw a noticable cloud of smoke, looked kind of greyish but couldnt really tell, it did it again when i floored it about a quarter mile up. I dont think im loosing any antifreeze goin to check the oil out in the morning, but i just did a change a month ago and no water/milkyness to the oil, i use mobile 1 HP. The only code i have is the evap leak, which im just being lazy on to fix. Any suggestions?
it kinda looked like a lot, kinda of like your breathe in the winter best way i can describe it, was about 100 feet of WOT when i looked back and saw it kinda scared me a bit so i let off the throttle. Ive seen a lil smoke when i went WOT in the past on this truck and my 03 dak 4.7 but not this much.
It's not uncommon for veice to coug up som smok when yu romp on it. It's likely excess carbon build-up inside the combustion chamber or from oil being sucked backtrough your pvc and going down or intake.
I pulled my TB off at 8kmi and the backside of the butterfly plate was all gunked up.

Wasn't warmed up maybe five min from when I started it. It does use oil already brought it to a dealer once said that the oil consumption was in normal range. I was planning on have a full look over done on it since my warranty is almost up might as well get the compression test done.
