why at start up the truck is cold and the fan controller is set to xxx* to start up, or do you mean when it the fan starts up...since i already own this junker one i may tear it apart and see if i can fix it, or buy a new one...thanks for the link chambers as i will never get another thing like this from the j/y....so noone has an opinion on the autozone one?....

 

Well the cheaper one only flows 2100cfm and from a quick search the taurus fan is 2500cfm on low so if you got one of those I'd get the more expensive one that flows 2800cfm. The current draw on startup that we were discussing is when the fan first kicks on and it can be in excess of 100 amps, but that should only be for milliseconds according to the fordmuscle info.
