Do you have any advance nearby, I know both napa and advance near me carry the 180-stat that fits most 4.7's, stant part number 45358 or napa number 530080.

Here is a link to the DIY I found those part numbers in http://www.*********.com/forums/showthread.php?t=262077 put "dodge talk" in w/ no spaces where the *'s are. You should drill a bleed hole in the new t-stat and make a notch for the gasket, it's explained in the DIY. It's a good cheap alternative to the Jet, throw it in some boiling water to make sure it opens before you put it in. You shouldn't need the gasket maker and should be able to reuse the gasket off the original t-stat. Good luck.

Don't expect NAPA to be even able to spell "truck". The one here wanted to tell me there was no 5.7L Hemi -- it's a 4.7L

We have a DIY in our FAQ section for the 180* t-stat install and another thread there with a bunch of brand and part #s for thermostats...

Is it definitely the used e-fan that is causing the issue?

yes hammer on the other site we are a member on "sem" i asked you about the fan there, i jumped out and it was off i spun it once and it started running so i think the truck moving makes it spin and helps it along....but anyway i may look into a new fan and want something i dont have to worry about and would like a local purchase got any ideas?.... i have a murrays speed and custom around me....
