Next step upgrades for 05 ram 1500 5.7L
Ok, im looking to start adding a few things to the truck and would like to get some ideas on what i should do first. I have CAI and Magnaflow Dual exhaust on it right now.....and i have a predator tuner showing up this week. What would be some some worth wild upgrades to start doing next. Dont have a huge stash of money to work with at once..so i will be doing things a little at a time. i was thinking maybe Headers would be a good place to start, but i would like to know what you guys think. Also if headers are a good way to start, what are the top 3 brands i should shoot for? Again, dont have tons of money but anywhere from in the $300 to $1000 range is where i want to be, so best bang for the buck is always appreciated.

Airram.com and summit racing are also good places to shop, they both carry gears for our trucks. The parts are the cheap part, install is where the cost is for gears.
Headers are also a good bang for your buck mod.
What type of mods are you looking for? go fast? looks? handling?
I installed a hellwig anti-sway bar a few weeks ago and it made a very good difference in handling.

Headers i could probably do with some help from a friend who knows how to do exhaust.....cam though..never did one or seen one done and just the thought of trying to do it myself kinda frightens me..lol

Personally, I found the cam to be an easier job than the headers. A little more involved with the spring swap but no laying on the ground, cutting off of old pipe or welding like is needed for the LT headers.
