Default 05 doge 1500 body lift ?

Hey trying to find out something. Guy I meet had a 3" body lift and I looked at the gap guards he had and he said he gore them from dodge themselves. I can't seem to find anything like that other than the ole black gap guards. Any info would help. Thanks

I think your friend is a liar because Dodge doesn't make gap guards? I'm not sure but I don't know why Dodge would make a part for an aftermarket lift kit. I think your friend just got the PerformanceAccessories gap guards and told you they were from Dodge.

or.. he had a dealership put a body lift on and they outsourced parts--- or his dodge dealership stocks aftermarket parts.

yeah dodge makes the wheel well guards, they are much better than the PA body gap guards.

Performance Accessories makes the gap guards for theer body lift and they are made from heavy thick rubber. You can make your own or even use something like lexan or plexi in the rear. Personally though i would get full rear wheel liners.

The Mopar Rear Well Guards are very nice. I helped a buddy put a set on his '06 Ram. Very easy install.
I would have gotten a set myself, except I can see no way of installing them on my truck without having to hack them up to get around my air bags. I don't really need 'em for "gaps" as I have a suspension lift, but more to keep from getting mud up underneath everything.

You can also just make your own gap guards by using heavy plastic sheeting or a large rubber mat.
