Default This is quite aggravating

Just recently my '07 hemi ram 1500 starting dinging like the enginge light just came on, but doesn't, today i get in and drive to pick some things up and i have no acceleration at all, it'll hit 2500 rpms before it even starts to move, and it will just stay at whatever rpm it was at last when driving after i release the gas. When i'm parked and shift from park to the other gears it shifts rather hard to the point it rocks my truck...wtf is going on?

I would start by resetting the PCM and see if that clears it up. Have you done regular scheduled and preventive maintenance on this truck?

I have, it did something similar to this not too long after i first bought it back in January so i took it into the dealership and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. The only difference between then and now is at that time it wouldn't go faster than 30mph.

Have you checked to see if it's throwing any codes?

Check for codes and all that good stuff. How many miles on your truck?

Resetting would be good, too. You might just check plugs and wires to make sure nothing is loose. Something as simple as a spark plug could cause some of these symptoms.

Does your engine light come on before starting?

if it will nto go faster than 30 then I would say to take it by a transmission shop and let them scan the TCM and see if they pick up any codes
