new to site guys but i have not read nothing bout a diesel with hids on this post... so i have read most all of this and it seems that i need resistors cause mine are flashing on and off. but my question is do the resistors go on the factory wiring? and is there any difference for bein on a 2500 diesel putting the relay and bulk of the wiring on the passenger side.

Since diesel trucks have batteries on both sides, it won't matter which side you put your harness on. You need the resistors no matter if you have a gas engine or diesel. Resistors are best put on the hid harness and not the OEM wiring in case you ever go back to halogen lights.

ok im a bit confused, i have the single headlight H13 on my 06 Ram. I purchased the bi-xenon H13 relay wiring harness, 4x 50watt 6ohm resistors and the H13(9008) bi-xenon bulbs. Now i understand the wiring up the resistors on the relay harness, my question is with the relay harness it leaves one side stock headlight plug unused. Ive seen some people say to just tape it up and tuck it away in a secured spot and others say that it will throw codes and eventually disable the circuit! So my question is on the unused stock headlight plug do i need to rig something up and throw the resistors in there to fool the computer into thinking there is a bulb there drawing power?

My truck also has the High beam Daytime running lights, I was thinking if I got some bulbs that are xenon low and halogen high and only put the resistor on the xenon low side of my harness the DRL's should still work no? I'll just have to try them out and see what happens!
