Help, Still Vibrating
Ok so I went out and got new tires, Master Craft Courser ATs made by Cooper tire $650. I watched as they dismounted, changed them balanced them and remounted them. So I'm driving on them the first few days and noticed a wobble from about 35-50 mph. I go back and took one of the mechs for a drive he says its your u-joints. puts it on the rack and there is about a 1-2 inch play in the driveshaft. So get the new u-joints $85. I live and work in a small town so I don't get to open it up until I hit the open road. I got a wobble again but ONLY at 50-55 mph. I'll be taking it back but any suggestions before I go back?? It wouldn't be the front bearings would it, or front shocks?? It's only at 50-55 mph it does this. She has 102,500 miles on her Thanks , H-

DO you have after market wheels?
Reason I ask, I have after market wheels Metal moto's on my rig with stock tires but after installing new 33 meats I had a wobble? Found out I needed Hub-centric rings to center the wheels. Cost me about $30.00 and all is well. I guess the larger meats made the vibration arise?

GOD I HATED those tires. They were on mine and were fine for about a year and a half. After 20k miles they would spin out on a damp road. Make a right turn quickly when wet at a light i would end up sideways with hardly any pedal. Stoping down hill when wet meant you were skiing. I only had those 30k miles before i had to replace them they sucked so bad. Not trying to make you feel bad, but i had a bad experience.

Hey Hammer: No vibration before the switch of the tires
Weed: I need to go back and have them do it again or I'm telling them I want my $ back
Dark Rig : Naw just have the stock 17"ers on them
That1Guy: You had the same problems? They told me these were great Tires. Cooper makes them as one of their "off" brands
We were driving down I-16 and back from the Walmart near Savannah Ga Airport and it only vibrated at about 52-55 mph. At 60+ it was fine under 50 it was fine WTF??

I didnt have a vibe, but the rubber is horrible. Like I said. DANGEROUS in the rain or even wet roads.
I have been driving up a steep hill doing 30 mph. The truck gently down shifted and before i knew it i was spinning and had to let off and baby it up the hill. I have a limited slip rear end and it was nothing for the rear to break loose or the front to slide on anything.
I got a set of bridgestone tires off a new z71 silverado and not had a problem since.
