Whats wrong?
yes, i moved the doors while the vents were running by hand. I removed the linkage between the two doors, and did them individually and the temperature did change on both sides. it didnt feel loose or anything. I am 90% sure that there is nothing wrong with the blend doors.
not quite. the passenger went from hot to cold and back. drivers side goes from lukewarm to coldand back.
Point is all the operation is there, just that the heat is not sufficient.

Well, forget about how much heat is there.
If you moved the doors by hand and you did get some heat on the driverside, then your blend door is the problem. As I stated before, the gear mechanisms strip out because they are only plastic. This means that the actuator will be rotating inside the stripped blend door and not moving it even though the blend door seems to rotate fine by hand and isn't bound up.
Now for the heat being not so hot.
Did you grab the hoses like I said to feel their temp? Or if you have a handheld IR heat sensor use that.

I did check the hoses and both of them are equally hot. Not so hot that I can't touch them, but they are hot. Also, the longer the truck is running thewarmer the driver side heat becomes(like say after an hour of running, its almost the same temp as passenger side). Which I don't think would happen if I had a door problem. I'm not trying to argue, I just want to make all of my information known, before I stick a bunch of time and money into something only to have it not be the problem.

No, there is only 2 blend doors. Watch this video between 4:20-6:35. This is exactly what I dad, and how the parts reacted.

From the far left(drivers side)...
1st door controls air between floor and defrost. 1 motor
2nd door controls the panel vents mode.(on/off) 1 motor
3rd and 4th door are blend doors controlling temperature. 1 motor with a metal linkage between the two.(as noted in video)
5th door controls recirculation . 1 motor
