Do you have your heart set on BFGs? There are a lot better A/T tires out there for a lot less $ in my opinion...

Take a look at FAQ section what people prefer . I personally think about Dick Cepek FCII and Nitto Terra Grapplers

I paid $127.50 a piece for 265/65/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers for my Grand Cherokee 4x4 and I've owned two sets of BFG A/Ts before and I think the Nitto's outperform them in every way for a lot less coin... Can't cost much more as 265/70/17s are just the next size up.

Lot of guys on here have the Terra Grapplers and I haven't heard one complaint yet.

Toyo Open Country A/Ts, Mickey Thompson ATZ, Cooper Zeon & General Grabber are also some favorite A/Ts around here that I think all outperform the BFGs...

I dunno if I'd classify the FCIIs as an A/T. I have 'em on my truck and although they are a fantastic tire, they are a bit more aggressive than an A/T. Usually if someone is looking for an A/T they don't want a loud tire and the FCIIs are every bit as loud as all but the most aggressive mud tires. They also ain't cheap...

i my self will not get another set of bfg a/t i found that if you do alot of gravel driving that the edges of the tire starts to shread very easy. deffinatly haven't had a problem in the mud with them tho can't say too much about the snow because i take them off fore the winter. i got them on my chevy and they seem to be wearing out more than what i expected them too.
