Oh!!! I thought they were supposed to come with them. Thank you didnt know that they they didnt.

Do you guys think its possible/safe to install the tow hooks in the stock fog light cut outs?

I plan on installing a set of off road lights in behind the front grill and was gonna put fog lights in the usual spot. Is there a mounting area to put tow hooks in the fog light hole?

I would rather doubt it. There isn't any frame rail real close. It ain't impossible, but you'd have to fab up some VERY strong custom brackets to go from the frame to the hole.
Wouldn't be cheap, and no offense, but it don't sound like you'd be the type to have a shop where you could fabricate such brackets yourself...

Yeah, thats a no-go on putting them on the fog light holes because of zero support.

Other option would be a front mounted reciever hitch. If you want to mount anything on the front it'll cost about the same for a front mount hitch as the tow hooks

1500's came with them. They were a $100 option. There is a place to mount them between the grill and bumper as mentioned above. Get them from your dealer or www.mopar.com. Take a razorblade and cut out the plastic to access the mounting holes or buy another filler inseert.

its an option when u order the truck i bought both my last 2 trucks used both here in alberta first was 05 4.7 4x4 qc slt it had tow hooks

And this truck 07 reg cab 4x4 sport has tow hooks guy who bought it actually ordered every thing u could for that model have window sticker

But the 2500 tow hooks are the bomb mine are kinda small and if ever need a tow i can see my front bumper shell getting destroyed due to how far in they are the 2500 models are out say another 1-2'' and are a double hook.I was even on thinking if i could get the 2500 tow hooks not sure if they fit

Default OMG I hate trying to find tow hooks.

Can someone please get a direct link to some pictures of the factory tow hooks and cross memeber bar for a 2004, I have been lookin for over 2 hours to find a picture of one. I am goin to be putting on a bull bar and need to get the measurements off the factory size so that my machine shop guy can make the right size bar with better hooks and easier accesibility.
