Default Wheel Adapters (from 5x5.5 lug to 8 lug)

I currently have a lifted 2WD 1500, Ive heard that by using wheel adapters I can achive my goal of buying rims that only come in 8 lug. I was wondering if these are bad for the truck?? Also where is the best place to get them??
Thanks,
Ethan

I have zero experience about it.
Maybe you could have a try.
I also need some 8 lug wheel spacers for my Dodge Ram. The prices on these spacers go all over the place..

I REALLY dislike wheel spacers...... they are an accident waiting to happen. They introduce side loads to the lug studs that they were never meant to deal with, ESPECIALLY on a truck.
