Need suggestions on my Dodge Ram,,,,will not start

sounds like the solinoid...just change the whole starter assembly...

yes i've had this problem once before, replace starter.

Agreed. When it clicks you either got a dead batt or a dead starter. Sounds like you are on the right track.

Alright, I am replacing the stater today, I will let you all know what the outcome is.

Ok guys, thanks for all of the help, I replaced the starter, and it works like a dream, it was the solinoid, however its harder to get that then replace the starter, and it costs almost as much, so my beast is back in business!!!

Glad you found it. Its a 2005 so you are covered for another 6 years.

Well i hope so, in the last 2 months, i have replaced the serpentine belt, 2 idler wheels, the EGR valve, now the starter, also have to replace both o2 censors, so i figure I have dropped enough money for a while.
