Default 33" tires and leveling kit

I currently live in LA, and i'm thinking about doing a 2" leveling kit with 20" wheels and 33" Terra Grappler tires. anyone have any idea on how tall the truck will be after the install is done. i'm just a little worried about parking garages in LA. Anyone have any pics they could post so i could get an idea of what it would look like i'd really appreciate it!

thanks!

I have a 2006 1500 4x4 quad cab...

I have a 2004 2wd quad cab with a 4" spindle lift... I live in Az, but am front Southern Cali, and go there about once a month. Never had any issues. I am only on 31" tires right not, but 33" tires would only add an 1" to your overall height, assuming it's a TRUE 33" tire, most aren't. I can go measure to the top of the truck if you'd like.

I recently added a 2" leveling kit to my '06 1500 QC 4x4 and I am running 33"tires(275/60/20) at this time. I measure right at 80" to the top of the cab.

stock trucks come with 33s so thats not a big issue as far as lifting it any (only an inch if you have 31s now) and the 3" spindle lift wont have you any higher than a stock 4x4. So I wouldnt worry

I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with 2 1/2" level and 33" toyo mud terrains and my truck will not fit in a regular parking garage in Nashville, TN. I always have to park in the big vehicle garages. Id say it added about 4" total, I know it feels alot taller to get into than stock. Hope this helps.

I was wondering about that, the stock tires are 33's? if that's the case, i should be good with just a 1" level kit to clear the front tires.... i just want the truck to look level, but i dont want it to be sitting higher in the front sitting on it's heels. @ricer If you did all that, and the top is still 80" then i should be fine in a 7' parking garage... Thanks for all the advice guys, i'm just going to have to take measurement's of everything and see where i'll be sitting at, but it looks like i'll be right around 6'8" which is enough to clear 7 and that's what i'm really worried about.

My stock tires were 31s, so if you already have 33s on it you should be fine.
