I took it apart today, and took a look inside, shouldn't take more than a few minutes. My wife didn't understand me wanting one, views it as a want. I told her it was more of a need, lol. Guess I can deal with the sun visor sunglasses holder until I can figure something else out, haha. Also, when I took it apart, I noticed a few things that looked kind of weird on the display. My stock OTIS has the house symbol with the three dots for homelink below it, the words eco, and some other stuff. I'm wondering if this stock unit isn't capable of doing the things that the evic does with maybe a flash? Perhaps someone should look into that.
The OTIS is available with the homelink, and already does most of what the EVIC does. The EVIC isn't strictly necessary, as every setting that can be set with it, can also be set with just your keyfob. I wanted the EVIC because it made making those changes easier, and the dot matrix screen, while dimmer, just looks better overall.

How can you change the power accessory delay without the evic, or taking it to the dealer?

I just installed the OTIS with Homelink in my 08 and it was a plug and play as well. I bought it from a member here. Works and looks like new.
I may upgrade to the EVIC if I can find one cheap enough, but for now, I'm just happy that I don't have to keep my 3 button garage remote hanging on my visor for someone to steal now. There are none available on eBay or Amazon right now, just a boat load of 02-05 units.

You can find LKQ online at http://www.lkqonline.com/, or find them on ebay. You can search their parts from their website, and buy them off ebay. The overhead console is under interior. I believe from their website, you can make a part request. That might help you find the EVIC you need. I bought mine from LKQ through ebay.
