Cracking open the rear again on the 03
look at this article I stumbled on. SM states 75 ft./lbs. but they're saying more. http://www.ringpinion.com/TipOfTheDay.aspx?TipID=11
Bit of a cheek here areinike but......can you PM me with your write up, in case I miss it on the forum please?
I have all the bits over here in the UK to go from a 3:55 to a 4:56 4x4.
I just don't have a gear man as yet I would trust, to do this without intimate knowledge of a Dodge, which is hard to come by in the UK.
I'd really appreciate it bud.
Al.

U.K. seems to be the case here in Miami as well. It's all mostly Chevy and Ford people. Yeah, don't hold your breath though .. it may be a few weeks.
Just posting progress as I go along so I have something to reference and I don't forget.
Okay, total rotational torque was just a hair shy of 10 in./lbs. and pinion only was about 3-4 in./lbs. Something definitely loosened up. So I'm going to readjust per "used" bearings on the pinion and see what I get on the total. Until next time ... AL a.k.a. gear man. (yeah, right - if I were I wouldn't be asking for help all of the time).
