Spark plug ??
2008, 1500 SLT 4.7, 2WD What are the OEM plugs? I bought some Bosh copper super +, part # 7962 which were cheap. Not fond of bosh but all they had, are they good, cause I have had problems in the past with Bosh in another vehicle I owned. Also the coil packs, how long do they last on average? Not going to replace them as they are coil packs not boots.
Also plan on doing the rear differential while I'm at it, is there a rear gasket or will RTV sealant be all I need? Also if RTV sealant is all I need what part #? I was thinking the black or grey.... Also how do I know if I have trac-loc so I know if I need the friction modifier?

Some use the gasket, some just use RTV...I use both. Just go to Advanceauto.com enter your vehicle info, etc. It'll give you the part #, they're only about $5.
Not sure on your year truck for plugs, check the 3rd Gen FAQ Spark Plug thread.
To determine if you have limited slip, jack rear so wheels turn freely, turn one of the rear wheels. It the other wheel travels in the same direction, you have an LS diff, opposite direction, you have an open rear end.

I would use the black RTV on the rearend.
Take the plugs back if you can and try to find some Champion copper plugs or NGK V-Power copper plugs for the top. The bottom 8 plugs are good for 100K miles.

I would use the dielectric grease on the coil boots, yes. This helps seal out moisture and will make them come off the plugs easier the next time you change the plugs.
