Ok, so I picked it up today after 4 days in the shop. The vibration seems to be gone but I'm gonna have to drive a bit more before I say that it is fixed. When I got it home I noticed that there was a mark on one of my wheels that wasnt there before, as I look around at the other wheels I notice that each wheel has a ding in it. Every mark is in the same spot on the wheel, around 4-1/2-5" from the center of the rim. Needless to say I'm pissed. I just put a coat of wax on them last week so I know for sure that there wasnt any marks in the rims. I know the clad wheels mark up easy but you would think that the mechanic would know to be careful with it. Its now too late to call until tomorrow so I will have to burn up till then. What do you think the outcome of this problem is going to be? I did just spend 25K on the truck 3 weeks ago.

Yep, what lx said. Does the vibration get progressively, whorse from 60 on up, or does it stay about the same?

It usually stayed around 60-70. Tomorrow I will take it for a longer ride so I can test it out.

That sucks about the wheels. I had all 4 of mine replaced under warranty. The chrome clad was fine, but the clear cost on the thin outer lip of all 4 rims was peeling off.
I make them balance them with no weights on the outer rim so it doesn't mar the wheels. They hammer weights in the rear lip and stick-on weights up inside the wheel.
