Well everyone. I'm not understanding what really happened here. I took the fuel rail apart, unplugged all injectors and put everything back together, started the truck, no smoke, no check engine light, changed oil. some tapping but i went to autozone bought some oil honey treat ment and the tapping went away. just can't figure it out. so the truck is running fine since monday. Thanks to all post to assist me.

I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500 5.7L with fuel dripping from the exhaust and the oil does not smell like gas can someone help please

12 year old thread. Should really start your own...

That said, if gas is making it to the end of the exhaust, then you definitely have a problem, stuck injector maybe?
