Default 08 5.7L HEMI 1500 Wont Start, Exhaust

So about I week ago I was out and hopped some curbs. My exhaust pipe broke off my muffler at the flanged connection. It rain fine just loud, when I got home I parked the truck. I had to go out of town for a week or so. When I got back the truck will not start. I took the muffler and tailpipes off and am getting them fixed now, do you think that will fix the truck? Or do you think these are unrelated, if so what the hell could it be.. I thought it was the back pressure on the exhaust but I have no clue what is going on if this doesn't fix it.

Other than melting a connection i feel that the broken pipe is a coincidence and unrelated.
Was the alarm enabled when sitting?

Is the engine turning when you crank it?

Does it start and then die almost instantly? Are there any dash lights on? I had a problem with the key on my '07 where it couldn't talk to the security module, and so it would start and then die instantly, and a little key icon appeared on the dash. I had to get my key replaced.

It doesn't really sound like your problem, so this may not be helpful.

You could take everything off the truck from the exhaust manifolds back and the truck will still crank. You have undoubtedly caused other issues besides breaking your exhaust when you "hopped some curbs".

Any CEL popping up? You getting fuel at the rail?

Liner Joe,

It trys to start then dies, it doesnt fully turnover, there are no lights coming on the dash. It will only try to turn over the first time then I have to wait about 5 minutes to get the same response.

HammerZ71,

Ill check the fuel at the rail, what is cel popping up?

No CEL is coming on. I verified that I do have a spark. I took out one of the spark plugs and checked.

Whats the best way to check the fuel pressure?
