Default Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4.7L Code P0480

Ok. This damn code is driving me crazy!!!! I jumped the electric fan motor and it is working. I reset the cpu with the cpu diagnostic tool to clear the code and the code keeps coming up. I disconnected the battery, the code still comes up. I do not think I have a relay for the fan...can't find one in the fuse box. I called the dealer and they said they have NEVER had to replace the Coolant Temp. Sensor on a 4.7 L engine ever. They said it might be the Computer (which I doubt) Can anyone HELP?????? PLEASE?????????

The only other thing I think it could be is the sensor that sits in front of the ac radiator (coolant temp sensor)

And my ac does work, but when the engine heats up, it keeps shutting off because the darn electric fan is not working!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

There is a fuse I think it cav 39 in the PDC/IPM for the a/c fan. If the fuse keeps blowing then you need to replace the fan.

I installed the coolant temp sensor and the ambient air temp sensor and reset the cpu and the light is still on. The book says it might be the powertrain control module. Well I doubt it is the cpu....what now??????????? I am going to check the grounds....any help?????

Did you check all the fuses in the PDC? Either use a 12 volt test light or DVOM.
