How do you take the IAC off? It looks like it hidden behind the throttle body and would be hard to get a screw driver back there...

I got a new battery I will be putting in the truck when I get home but if that doesnt work I will need to take that off and clean it.

Could the ECU lost its memory? I did have to jump my truck to get it going, maybe the ECU lost its memory because of the dead battery?

Doesn't the ECU have it's own battery?

Ahhhhh, now we get more information. Put your new battery in and go from there. Odds are - your problems will be solved... Now I'm leaning even more toward my original assessment...

also.. these trucks do not have a fuel filter.. its integrated into the fuel pressure regulator.. which sits on top of the tank near fuel pump.. usually never goes bad.. but i agree.. sounds to be a battery issue.. had a similar issue with my old 02.

Measuring 12v doesn't mean sh*t, I had a battery measured a perfect 12v but had it tested and the 750 CCA when new battery had 61 CCA according the Advance Auto...
