Default 2004 hemi stall/hesitation jerk....HELP

i have a 2004 2500 hemi, within the past month the truck will stall by it self once and a while, doesnt run rough before just completly shuts off sometimes....and i also been having little jerks/hesitatiion while driving. usually happens when im crusing in low rpms. it feels like you took your foot off the gas and put i right back on in a fraction of a second.

I have cleaned the TB its spotless, put new plugs in, air filter clean and the pvc valve is clean.......sounds like a egr to me but there is no egr on this year hemi 2500.

getting really sick of this and is dangerous when stalls while driving.

any ideas or anyone have this problem thanks

You might give Sea Foam a shot at it. It isn't a cure-all, but it can't hurt. Are there any codes?

Mine wouldn't be so severe, I can only think of maybe one or two times where it actually stalled and this was after stopping at a light. But my idle has always been very erratic, with a good 200-300 rpm fluctuation and a few times the idle would drop to the point I thought it was on the verge of stalling, but it kinda caught itself and bumped up before it actually stalled.

Since grounding my TB I no longer have ANY idle fluctuation and idle NEVER dips anywhere even close to stalling when stopping. Might be worth a shot for you, especially considering it's only about a $5 fix even if you have to go buy the wire...

I should probably know the answer to this question but what is the TB? Lately my truck will stall in the morning's whenever I stop at the first stop light that is roughly a mile from my house. Don't think I have ever noticed the idle fluctuate while driving only when coming to a stop.

When I notice it start to stall if I take my foot off the brake it will be fine again.

It might be tranny fluid, I'm dangerously low on it right now and the times I remember having it just replaced it didn't do it nearly as much if at all. Has an actual cure been found for this jerkin/ stallin out?

Ii was thinking about grounding my throttle body hammer, just for throttle response, the truck runs at a steady idle never fluctrates. Also runs very smoothly sometimes barely know its running at lights, when the truck doesnt stall or jerk/hestitate of course.... Did you notice a improvement with the ground wire ?

Also i have had a evap code two-three times the last two months. and if i get fuel when the truck is running the light will be on when i get back in the truck. I never had a problem with the light coming on the ton of other times i got fuel while it running.

My tranny fluid is perfect, along with every other fluid.

Help....
Sounds like the same problem I'm having. Dealership can't seem to fix my problem and it also gets worse when it rains. My Durango jerks and the dash goes crazy. Everything shuts off then back on while I'm driving.... Scares me to death. My husband is deployed right now and I have nobody to carry it to check it out. A dealership kept it 2 weeks and I rented a car during that time.... Got my Durango back, and about 3 weeks later I'm having the exact same problem. I'm a 1 owner, well taken care of, keep all my oil changes and other stuff done as needed. Any help to tell this dealership where to look for this problem world be greatly APPERCIATED! It has flashing light on in the dash also.

I had the same problem with my 2004 dodge ram 1500 cleaned everything changes plugs and wires as while I had that problem heard my wheel bearing go so I replaced it and it ha the abs sensor on it and it solved my problem. Even though I never heard of abs sensor making it stall it's why fixes my stalling problem oh yeah my cruise wouldn't work as that condition was happening
