Default Wiper problems

Wipers have been acting up lately, sometimes don't come on when turned on, stop as soon as I turn them off in middle of windshield. I replaced relays and today I replaced the switch and still do the same thing. The only other option I have it the wiper motor. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Mine does the same thing. Even the delay doesnt work properly now. I also found that if I hit a bump just rite, they will come on by them self and swipe once. Has to be wire related I suppose.

I can't remember exactly, but there are a few threads on this. There is a way you can take the motor apart and clean up the contacts, it has worked for some people, others not so much. Depends how bad it is I guess, you may have to just replace the motor. I have this issue too, hasn't been so bad yet that i've tore into it. If you decide to do it, post up some pics, maybe it will motivate some of the rest of us with the same problem.

Very simple to do, but it didn't solve my problems. No pics but very simply. I guess I will try a new motor!!

Didn't look while I had it out like an idiot. Does anyone know if motor can be removed from bracket. All the motors I see either show without brackets or the newer style for the 03 and ups with one mounting hole on bottom of bracket. I have to holes to mount on bottom and two to mount to top bar.
